They come in a variety of sizes, which allow you to pack with efficiency and organization. Another thing to note when packing is the use of speciality materials that you may or may not be aware of, like garment boxes / bags and furniture coverings. Furniture coverings help protect your items from dust, and dirt that travel through the air and over time will accumulate. We also recommend visiting your storage unit at least once a year or at the change of the seasons. One reason why you might want to check on your items is simply shifting. This can happen as varying weights are placed on one another and one corner or edge is off center, unintentionally but certainly not something you should ignore. Make plans to visit your storage unit at least once a year so you can check on the contents as well as make any needed adjustments.
