Why you shouldn’t smoke at a storage facility

While it might not seem like a convenient concept it is not polite to smoke at a storage facility. You’re subjecting everyone and their stored belongings to your own personal habits, which in an enclosed building can lead to issues. This is especially accurate for large buildings, air flowing throughout the building might help to regulate the temperature but it does not clean the orders floating around. Meaning there is no air filtration system in place to filter out smoke smells. Essentially by smoking in a storage building you’re filling up a box with smoke then walking away. The smoke will then get stagnant and seep into any and everything within the building. It is for this reason that we restrict smoking on our properties.

Smoke Free Storage

All of our self storage properties are smoke free, this means you are not allowed to smoke inside the buildings or directly outside the storage units ( for non-climate, drive up storage units). We appreciate your compliance. If you are at one of our Tellus Self Storage facilities please be considerate of others and step away from the building into the parking lot or other designated smoking area.
